Fresh Low-Pressure Area Forecast Over Bay of Bengal
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said a new low-pressure area was likely to form over the southeast and adjoining east-central Bay of Bengal around 23 October, and could intensify.
An existing low-pressure area lies over the southwest Bay of Bengal off the Tamil Nadu coast, with a trough extending over the north Bay.
Weather across Bangladesh was forecast to stay mainly dry, with temporary partly cloudy skies. Fishermen are generally advised to follow BMD bulletins closely.
